Scanning
No. The scan runs in your phone's browser on our site. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
Yes. Any phone with a working camera. Most scan-to-print insole companies are iPhone only because they depend on the iPhone depth sensor. Ours works from ordinary photos, so iPhone and Android both work.
About 4 minutes for both feet. You will need a sheet of standard printer paper for scale, bare feet or thin socks, and a bright room.
A sheet of US Letter paper is exactly the same size in every house. Standing on it gives us a known measurement in the photos, which is how we get your foot to true scale.
Yes. A helper makes it slightly easier, but most people do it alone. The screen guides you through each angle.
If you decline the camera permission, or your browser blocks it, the scan page switches to a guided photo upload instead. You take the same angles with your normal camera app and upload them.
You will see a QR code to scan with your phone, plus a button to text the link to yourself. The capture itself needs a phone camera.
We check every scan before anything is printed. If it is not usable we text you a fresh link with tips on what to change. Nothing prints until the scan is good.
The insoles
All three are printed from the same full scan of your feet. No model gets a shorter or lesser scan. What changes is the internal shape of the support and which areas of your foot it reinforces. Essential is built for daily wear, Performance for training and long days on your feet, and Pro adds the most individual support most individually shaped support zones.
They are built to your foot and cut to the shoe size you give us, so they drop into most standard footwear. Take the existing insole out first. Very shallow shoes, like some dress flats, are the one place a full insole can feel tight.
The scan drives the shape. The size you enter is a cross check against the scan and it sets the length of the blank we print on. Two people with the same foot length can wear different shoe sizes, so we use both.
Your scan is already on file, so extra pairs cost less. Most people keep one pair in work shoes and one in sneakers rather than moving a single pair back and forth.
It depends on your weight, your shoes, and how many hours a day you are on your feet. Treat them like a good pair of shoes: they wear over months of daily use, not weeks.
Wipe them with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let them air dry. Keep them away from a dryer, a radiator, or a hot car dashboard, because heat can soften a printed part.
